My aim is to offer a totally unique treatment tailored to the client's needs to help support the body's healing capabilities. I specialise in remedial Deep Tissue and Myofascial Release treatments to alleviate common complaints such as neck, back & shoulder pain and sport related injuries. I also offer relaxing and stress reducing treatments.
The comfort, warmth and reassurance of touch can enhance homeostasis by stimulating the body's own natural healing abilities, restoring both - the physical and psychological self. Regular massage strengthens and tones the entire body system. It can stimulate or alternatively calm the nervous system, help to ease tension, stiffness and pain, leaving the recipient relaxed and revitalised.
I qualified as a Yoga teacher in June 2019 and completed a 200 hour Yoga foundation course with Be Yoga Sussex, a 14 hour Restorative Yoga with ucanyoga and a 14 hour Yin Yoga with Nina Golderber via Sally Parkes Yoga. Together with my experience as a trainee Tai Chi teacher, this will assist with exploring body awareness and maintaining good health, vitality and well-being. The teachings have also taught me the importance of continuing to combine the mind, body & spirit and how to ‘heal’ which is why I like to bring this knowledge into both my massage and yoga practice.
