Craniosacral Therapy

What is Craniosacral Therapy?
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a form of bodywork or alternative therapy focused primarily on the concept of Craniosacral rhythm and regulating the flow of cerebrospinal fluid. It's a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance.  3 grams of pressure is applied to the skull, spine and sacrum while waiting patiently for the body to unwind and rest by releasing restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. The goal of CST is to facilitate the balance of the CS rhythm, which promotes health.

CST techniques are very different to any other 'hands-on' treatments. It is performed through clothes and usually ends with a 'still' hold to restore balance and total relaxation.
What are the benefits?
CST can encourage one's natural healing mechanisms, bolster the body's immune system, is non-intrusive and appears to have a positive effect on the central nervous system.  It has been helpful for those suffering chronic symptoms that haven't been aided by other approaches.  Specifically, it is beneficial to those with:
