As the lock-down eases and we become more familiar with COVID-19's rules and regulations, it is not looking good for Massage Therapists. We were hoping to return to work on 4th July 2020 along with other practitioners such as Chiropractors, Osteopaths and Physiotherapists. However, due to the one meter plus social distancing rule, it becomes increasingly difficult to provide a 'hands-on' service and so we wait patiently until we receive the green light from the Government. As soon as that happens I will contact those who have requested treatments and start to take bookings.
In the meantime, I am able to provide advice and information to help with any pain or discomfort either by phone or via Zoom and have already helped a few to maintain a level of comfort and mobility offering self massaging tips, mindful movement and yoga. The pandemic has increased anxiety for everyone as we experience many changing emotions on a daily basis and if I'm unable to help using my skill set then perhaps I can recommend a practitioner who can, so please do not hesitate to get in touch, even if its for a quick chat, I would love to hear from you.
I continue to offer online live yoga classes every Monday at 6pm and every Friday at 12.30pm at £4 per session (FOC for our amazing NHS workers). Yoga works wonders on the nervous system, combining the mind & the body, reducing stress and creating relaxation. The online classes also create a sense of community and to see familiar smiley faces weekly encourages happiness and a sense of belonging.
The gentle Vinyasa Flow class I offer includes breath work, a gentle warm up, flowing yoga, core work, a cool down and a delightful Savasana.
I really look forward to seeing you all online to share a calm hour 'out of the madness', to help us all keep grounded, level headed and present. Please text 07791 401609 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to access the link.
Stay safe and much love,
